Music and Ministry

Sunday, February 15 was one of the first steps that the team has taken to actively "get out the message" about our trip to China. We took a road trip.

I always knew that music was a huge part of ministry (David and Saul, case and point), but to be a member of a music ministry mission is an exhilarating experience. 11 of the Mengzi Team crammed into the college van and set off to Ft. Meyers for a short, day trip.

After a beautiful concert of piano, vocal, flute, penny whistle, and euphonium pieces, several team members shared their testimonies about why they believe that God is calling them to be a part of the China team. It was inspirational to hear how God had worked in each heart, drawing them to the Orient.

My own heartbeat has beat a unique drum ever since I was six years old... I knew that I was going to China. After spending two years there, I thought I was done; but God has other plans. I am still so humbled to be a part of this team.

Please pray for us. We still have a LONG way to go on support. But, the tickets have been purchased, passports have been issued, and study plans have been begun.

Would you help?
